Sanitation & Recycling

Residential garbage must be placed in bags or it won’t be picked up! Place the bags on the berm by 8:00 a.m. Monday mornings.

Also note that the garbage truck will not pick up branches, grass clippings, or leaves. You will be responsible for bringing those items to the city compost site, located about a mile south of Drayton on the east side of the highway.

If you have question regarding garbage service, please call City Office at 454-3590.

Curbside recycling is picked up every other week on Thursday. Recycle carts should be out by the curb by 7 a.m. Please place your recycle cart away from other structures to help the recycling truck.  Items for recycling are all placed into one container.  Note:  glass bottles are no longer accepted.

If you do not have a recycling receptacle, please contact the city office (below).

If you have questions regarding recycling or composting, please call the City Office at 701-454-3590.
